Yes, these are actual animals that are actually alive. I love nudibranchs, which are the colorful sea slugs you may have seen/heard of before. I will have to post more about them. These particular creatures in the video are phanerobranchs, similar to nudibranchs but different in that they can’t retract their gills.

(I believe these are of the genus Nembrotha — thanks to my FB friend Chris Mah for the link.)
